Code Of Conduct
Pasadena American
Little League is committed to a safe, family atmosphere that
fosters player development. As such the Board of Directors
has adopted a formal code of conduct policy for our league.
Signing of the code of conduct is required by all parents who
have players in our program. Read
and Sign our Code of Conduct.
Medical Release Form
Please fill
out the medical release form and bring it to skills assessment
or provide it to your coach if you register late.
As a parent, it is your responsibility to:
Keep Winning in Perspective
There are no collegiate or professional scouts attending our Little
League games. Parents are sometimes unprepared for the powerful
emotions they experience when watching their sons and daughters
compete.
Be a Model of Good Sportsmanship
Just as you don’t want your daughter or son to embarrass you,
don’t embarrass your Little Leaguer. It’s no secret
that children imitate their parents. In addition, they absorb the
attitudes they think lie behind their parents actions. As you go
through the Little League season, be a positive role model. Remember,
Little League is supposed to be a fun experience for your child
and one which he or she will learn some sports, teamwork and leadership
skills.
Be Prepared
Help your child understand the experiences associated with competitive
sports so he/she can learn the valuable lessons that sports can
teach.
Provide a supportive atmosphere for your child to reach his/her
goals for participation in Little League.
Make sure your child attends all practices and games at the time
specified.
Work with your child to improve his or her skills. Practicing with
your child not only helps to improve their skills but also provides
an opportunity to interface with your child.
Contact the coach, as far in advance as possible when your child
cannot attend a practice or game.
If you have any questions during the season, please contact the
Vice President/Player Agent for your division.
