Congratulations to the 9-10 and 10-11 teams for each winning 2010 District 17 Championships!

Pasadena American Little League (PALL) won the 10-11 year old District 17 All-Star banner by going undefeated in all seven (7) games they played in the tournament. The Championship game was against a tough Santa Anita Little League (SALL) team. After jumping out to a 7-0 lead, SALL chipped away with four runs. However, PALL was able to hold on for the win with a final score of 7-4. The Champions include: Matthew Arnst, Matthew Bazarevitsch, Zachary Brown, Miles Bryant, Jack Golbranson, Riley Gosnell, Sean Kelly, Bryan Lee, Robbie Leslie, Felipe Maestas, Tommy Samples, and Clayton Vaughan. PALL’s 9-10 year old team won the District 17 All-Star Championship by playing excellent throughout the tournament, including winning some tough fought games. PALL’s 9-10 team had a record of 5-1 going into the Championship game against Sierra Madre Little League (SMLL) that was undefeated (6-0) at that point. After falling behind 3-5 in the early part of the game, PALL was able to score three runs in the top of the 6th to take the lead 6-5. PALL then held off SMLL in the bottom of the inning for the banner. The Champions include: Michael Bazarevitsch, Grady Gills, Peter Hagan, Noah Kim, Nicholas Konrad, Joe Masters, Duston Pavon, Jesse Anderson-Ramirez, Nolan Shwery, Salvador Tabullo, Andrew Webster, and Garet West.
