It's
great to be a player in Pasadena American Little League.
(Pasadena American Little League is also known by its initials,
PALL) Did you know that PALL has been in existence since
1954?
That’s older than your parents!
The game of baseball was invented in the early 1800s and is played
in more than 100 countries around the world. Softball was
invented in 1887. There are more than 2.6 million boys and
girls playing baseball or softball in Little League this year,
just like you!
Did you know that more than 50 current and former Major League
Baseball players were born in Pasadena? Maybe you or one
of your teammates will grow up to be a Major League Baseball player.
