The PALL Juniors  team battled behind strong pitching from Michael Gerst and Trevor Lain on Friday night, but ultimately lost 5-2 in an elimination game at Bonita Park against SMNLL. Despite a bracket draw resulting in 4 games in 5 days, the PALL Juniors team found ways to defeat East Altadena LL and Pasadena Southwest LL relying on pitchers Joseph Lund, Rafa Lopez, George Jennings, Nate Eberwein and Wes Peebles. They finished the tournament with a hard earned 2-2 record. 

Highlights included Trevor Lain nearly hitting one “out at Bonita” (ask any team member what that means), numerous batting cage sessions in the past five weeks, and field lights turning off at 10pm with one out left in the first game - and these were the type of lights which took a while to warm up and get bright again.
