PALL is holding a Summer baseball program for those players that would like to continue to hone their baseball skills throughout the summer and into Fall Ball.
General Information:
- Summer Season: Teams formed in late June and games begin the week after 4th of July and run through the middle of August.
- Cost: $150 per player (cost includes all league, umpire, and game fees, and a hat/jersey to keep)
- Age Divisions:
- Minors (open to League 7, 8, 9 players that will be playing in Farm/AA next spring)
- Majors (open to League Age 10 and 11 players from this past Spring. This is a good place to be challenged for any players looking to play AAA or Majors next Spring.
- Juniors (open to League Age 12, 13, and 14 players from this past Spring. We will still encourage our current league age 12 players to enroll in Intermediate this Fall and next Spring, but we were unable to find a dedicate Intermediate program for this Summer.
- Schedule:
- 2 games per week – one on a weekday and one on Saturday (games will be at South Pasadena LL – they host the Summer program)
- Practices: 1 practice per week on PALL fields in addition to the games
- Fall Ball: Will PALL also be having Fall Ball again this year? Yes, registration for Fall Ball will open in early August and the season begins right after Labor Day and ends before Thanksgiving.
- Coaches: We need coaches for the Summer season, so if you are willing to be a coach, please sign up during registration.
We’re offering the program again because it has been a success and PALL is committed to continuing to offer baseball to the youth in the community at the highest level of training. This is not to say that we are not aware of “burnout” or overworking our youth. Quite the opposite. There are many players that simply want to play baseball and not some other sports, and we would like to make that available in an environment that is true to Little League International’s principals and guidelines, which are all very focused on protecting its players. The summer ball program is a great chance for players to try the next level up in a relaxed environment.
