All PALL Teams Continue in District Tournaments

Pasadena American Little League continued its winning streak on Tuesday night as both teams won in their District Tournaments.

The Little League All Star Team (12's) took on Arcadia American at Lojeski Field on Tuesday night. Liam Hendon, Chris Chino, and Elijah Lain combined to pitch a shutout on the night, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 6. The offense got started early in the 1st inning as PALL put 5 runs on the board. Timely hitting, base running and excellent bunts kept the inning going, and Arcadia American was forced to make a pitching change early. PALL put one more run up in the 3rd inning with a home run shot over the center field wall by Elijah Lain. The PALL team will now take on Santa Anita Little League on Friday, June 25th at 7pm (Lojeski Field).

Lawton Gray IV beats out a bunt single that ends with him advancing to third on the play.

The winning continued later in the evening as our 11-year-old all star team started their tournament off against San Marino Little League. The team jumped to an early lead in the 1st inning with 3 runs, and they never gave up the lead. Nolan Pegram had a solid night at the plate as he led the team with 3 rbis. Gavin Fong pitched a dominate 3 innings with 1 hit, 1 run, 1 walk, and 6 strike outs. Nolan Pegram and Lucas Yin came in to finish off the San Marino team, and PALL finished with the win 7-3. Our 11-year-old team will now play Santa Anita Little League on Friday, June 25th at 7pm (Victory Field).

Lucas Yin was 1-2 at the plate with 1 run scored.

The PALL 9/10 Team played last night against Santa Anita Little League. Marcos Rodriguez pitched a solid five innings, but it wasn't enough as our PALL team fell 10-0. Santa Anita scored one in the first and one in the second, and the score held at 2-0 in a tight 5 innings. Miles Pendleton and Leo Garroway provided the offense on the night with one single each. Unfortunately, Santa Anita broke through in the 6th inning and scored eight more runs to seal the win. Our 9/10 team will now take on Sierra Madre Little League on Friday, June 25th at 7pm (Allendale Park).
